Here we see Odric experiencing some cognitive dissonance as the current state of his church conflicts with his core beliefs and values. This type of emotion is kind of rare in fantasy so was happy to have the opportunity to depict it here.

The news of the new seasons of FLCL reminded me of how oddly similar this scene is to the one in Star Comes to Earth. Also it occurs to me that I should have flipped this to read left to right, but frankly I can’t be bothered!
